30 Things I Have Learnt in London
- The London Underground (a.k.a The Tube) is not always under ground
 - It is completely acceptable to sit, lay, or sleep by yourself in a park.
 - Cigarettes only come in 10 and 20 packs. Kind of annoying really
 - The park across the road from my flat has a cafe which has £2 latte's
 - The Tube is by far the best for of public transport I have ever been on
 - 'Keep Right' signs are all through the tube stations and if you stand on the left people get angry
 - If the sky is blue in London there is no reason whatsoever to stay inside
 - The sun sets around 8.30 - 9.00pm. Apparently it sets later as the summer comes
 - Birds sing from the trees around my flat at 3am
 - Twitter is a bigger thing than Facebook over here
 - Rent and Real estate prices are ridiculous
 - The city has a problem with bike theft
 - Also a problem with bikes being chained up on the street paths
 - Costa coffee is incredible
 - The standard large take away is the same size of my face.
 - And only £3.05
 - I sat in the park writing this and there was a man with a pet cockatoo on his shoulder (he was not a pirate)
 - There is free wi-fi, like everywhere
 - Don't take a cab from zone 1 to zone 3 at peak hour (that lesson cost me £54)
 - Citymapper is the greatest app and has saves my ass so many times
 - Hyde Park has bird holes in the bottom of the lamp posts
 - Squirrels are everywhere and they are as cute as they are harmless
 - E-cigarettes are a big thing over here
 - Chavs are a real thing and they are intimidating
 - Same with Lads
 - Too many girls have black eyebrows drawn on with light hair and skin
 - The Tube Map is not geographically correct
 - You can rent a bike for £2 for 24 hours
 - I have learnt to appreciate the sun
 - London is just like in the movies
