Gunnersbury Park
Gunnersbury Park Mansions.
My English home, West London, Piccadilly Line. Not as great as it sounds.
Ironically across from Gunnersbury Park, opened to the public in 1926 after centuries of history. Many Sir's, and Ma'am's, and Lord's, and Bishop's used to live in the real mansions according to Wikipedia. Now occupied by joggers, children feeding the ducks, a golf course, a museum, and according to my new flatmates "new things to discover everyday". So naturally I took some photo's, but don't be fooled by the seemingly warm light, my fingers were frozen.
Apparently five massive buildings weren't enough so the sir's and ma'ams and lord's built in their own church. Dollar Dollar bills ya'll, I guess.
A church isn't complete without it's own lake, no seriously, it's literally in front of the Church.
I've learnt to love these little guys, unfortunately I think this one wasn't exactly at his peak of health.
It was an internal fight with myself to not jump the fence and go into the door. I decided I'd like to stay alive and keep that one a mystery.
Lastly, this is the original Mansions (not the ones I live in) that is now a museum or something. I'll save that for another day.
Always, em.
